Elisa Ottalagana
Fellow
Elisa Ottalagana’s research is focused on the development of polymer-oligonucleotide hybrid nanostructures tailored to early diagnostics, with a focus on the identification in traces of circulating tumor biomarkers.
In this framework, her activity is related to the labelling of oligonucleotides with luminescent reporters, spectrophotometric evaluation of their stability in biological fluids, and study of their immunogenic potential in vitro.
Elisa graduated in Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Pisa.
She is working in Nanomedicine laboratory, under the supervision of Dr. Giovanni Signore.
